My Old Blog

This is my old blog. It ran from 2001 to 2003. I'll no longer post here, but I keep it around cause I'm too nostalgic to delete it :-/

27/07/2002

well, i am officially a short-haired girl now. i chopped all of my hair. heheheh, it was out of control anyways. too bad my digi camera dosen't work (well, it works i just lost the cable to connect it to the comp.) or i would've taken a picture. but let's just say it's a mix of halle berry with rachel from real world 10 and sarah from road rules 11, yeah, i can't decide which. but now i have to wear hair bands for me to be happy. i don't like it without em.

while i was at the parlor i found myself with christian. he was cutting his hair next to me and i didn't even notice. he said that we should go to the mall tomorrow friday (if yr wondering all of this happened on thursday, it was the day of the constitution of puerto rico and mom had it free, and yesterday she had it free too. ) because himself and dwight had to buy their school things, and that raymond was going too. man, this guys are more self-concious than i am. they took like 1 hour to buy a friggin' pair of shoes, and then they wanted to return them for another pair. they took another hour choosing a damn backpack. half the time i got so angry i left and went off to another store without telling them. they said they were starting to freak out, but i didn't believe them. so i just went to claire's and bought headbands. one is like 3 inches thick. cool. i also bought pencils, erasers, glue, etc. all those thingys you need for school. so then we went to the movies, we saw Reign of Fire. it is sooo cool. aww Christian Bale is adorable! *_* i know i sound like teenybopper, but he IS... and he's BRITISH... or maybe he's just faking it in the movie. i dont recall watching a movie with him on it...

25/07/2002

why are there so many spongebob rings and cliques? the show is hilarious i must admit, but it dosen't come anywhere near cartoon network's courage the cowardly dog, hahahah, the ending jingle is just so cool! i love courage's horrified screams. maybe i'll open up my own ring or clique for him, we have too many songebob's out there... and yes it is 3 fifteen am, so don't pay attention to half the things i am saying (or should that be writing).

24/07/2002

i was watching the show american idol, for the first time just now, and it's the most pathetic thing i have ever seen. it's a tie between the judges and the audience, who's the most pathetic of the two? i couldn't decide. the audience kept screaming like banshees, and the judges we're dagger's at each other. paula abdul said that the cranky judge (simon, i don't know his last name, he is a total asshole) was breast-fed by his father. that is THE lamest insult ever. and i can't talk much cause i suck at insulting people. but it dosen't mean i can't tell a good insult from a bad one and that guy deserves worse... actually the show is so bad is actually worth watching. it has it's pretty good moments, like today all the singer's sang "California Dreamin' ", the Mamas and the Papas song. it obviously didn't compare to the original but it was close.

today i was supposed to go to the zoo with veronica (and natalie and her sisters and her grandfather). but i wasn't really up for it. when i told mom about it she told me that if i didn't want to go i shouldn't go. so i called veronica with the lame excuse "mom says i can't go. sorry." and now i feel bad cause i didn't tell her the thruth, that i didn't want to spend 3 hours in a car with her sisters, and everybody else. (the zoo is in el carajo, fucking far away)

now onto saturday's bbq, or party or whatever it was. it was good. the best thing was that i played whatever music i wanted heheheheh, i wasn't going to let the 40 yr old's play salsa. i met some of my mom's high school friends. they we're cool, some of 'em. they treated me as if i was 12 years old though, and some we're some plain shit eaters. there was an actor who is filming a movie here in PR with jeff daniels. his wife is american and she was pretty nice, we talked about a bunch of things. the guy camed in my room and started playing my bass, and i told mark about this (for all of you who don't know mark is my online b/f) and i couldn't have said it better to him:

millie: one of the guys that camed over today was playing with my bass and he played pretty cool
mark: thats cool.
millie: even though he didnt know, supposedly
mark: i c.
millie: he knew how to play guitar. he was talking about all this notes and scale stuff
mark: interesting.
millie: and i was like 'yeah... yeah i understand', while in the back of my mind i was like 'what the FUCK is he saying'
mark: ahh yes.
mark: been through that before.
millie: i just didn't want him to go with the wrong impression of me
millie: he's an actor
millie: teeheehee
mark: ahh but of course.

while we are on the subject of mark. he camed back to life a few days ago, (he had disappeared, said he didn't have internet acess and that his messenger was 'acting goofy'). our conversations have been very funny, check this:

millie: i got a fish today
millie: my mom bought me one
mark: sweet.
millie: it's called Fred
millie: let's just hope Catzilla don't eat him
mark: no shit.
millie: catzilla and catzuki [other cat we lost] ate our perikeet Tito
mark: shit
mark: thats not kewl.
millie: lol
millie: yes, we only found what looked like a spine
millie: and some feathers, but no blood. we're guessing they ate him in one gulp
mark: damn
millie: mom reckons even the dog took a bite
mark: damn dirty dog.
millie: heeeeeey
millie: my dog is the best
mark: heeeey what ?
mark: ok
mark: sorry.
millie: even though she is believed to be a killer, she's the best.
millie: she's sleeping in my bed right now.
mark: see what i mean
millie: what do you mean?
mark: the dog is evil.
millie: :-@
millie: i'm gonna give you the silent treatment just for saying that
mark: no your not.
millie: if i was there, you would be so bruised
millie: yes i am
millie: ...
mark: no i would not
mark: you love me to much.
millie: -speechless-
millie: dammit. you win... :-@ :-@

he so sweet. hehehe. but he said Pepi was a 'damn dirty dog' grrrr

i made this quiz at quizyourfriends.com, (you can make a quiz about yourself, to see how much your friends know you.) well raymond's score was pathetic, he got a 50! he didn't even know my correct birthdate, dwight's was much better, he got 90, he only failed to know where i can be found on saturdays. veronica got 80, but i haven't had her scoreboard sent to me. she says she closed the window too soon. (i know she got 80 cause she told me). i still can't believe ray got a 50, a 50! i got an 80 on his test... that makes me want to KILL him. arg.

i'm not in the mood to talk about the bbq. but it was good. now check this;

my mom bought me a fishy! yey! it's one of those common vettas, but it's cute. a blue and creme color. i named him 'Fred' after Fred Weasley of HP. i wanted to name him Sir Cadogan but my mom didn't like it. let's hope Fred stays for long. the last time we bought fish, my mom bought six at a time and they all died the same day of arriving. i'm using my sister's old tank.

i was talking to my old friend sarah from 8itch.org. we hadn't talk for ages (according to her it has been eons, hehe. i wish i lasted eons). when she saw my website was hosted in tripod she offered to host me. ain't that neat!? i'll keep you posted.

well, my mom is having a party tonight. more like a barbecue. with her friends of her high school reunion. it's funny cause well, my mom didn't graduate with this people. she was with them in the same school till her freshman year, when she moved to minnesota. now that i think of it i have never asked my mom why exactly did she move, how could that have skipped my mind? i'll ask her. but still they consider her one of them.since they we're together since the elementary.

so my mom is going frantic, that we have to CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. and she's really buggin' me. which is bad cause it's a very pretty day. weird, i don't like sunny days. but it's so windy, it makes up the lack of rain.

i was searching for harry potter news when i found this:

JK Rowling 'stalker' deported

BBC News reports:
An American woman accused of stalking Harry Potter author JK Rowling has been deported from the UK.
Melissa Kumsuk Cho, 41, appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month, charged with harassment and committing a breach of the peace in May.

It was alleged that Ms Cho had repeatedly telephoned the 36-year-old author, sent letters and gone to her Edinburgh home and other places where she might be.

The books have made the author a multi-millionaire

Ms Cho has now been sent back to the US after she was found to have been living in Scotland illegally.

A spokeswoman for Rowling confirmed that the author had been harassed and said: "A woman was arrested and deported but we can't make any further comment."

Ms Cho, whose address was given as 272 Leith Walk in Edinburgh, was charged with a breach of the peace, aggravated by a charge of harassment.

She was also accused of posting disturbing letters and items to the writer.

It was further alleged that Ms Cho tried to deceive a firm of solicitors by saying she was the beneficiary of a trust set up by Rowling, in an attempt to find out more information about her.

Deported

The accused made no plea or declaration on 21 June, bail was opposed and she was remanded in custody at Cornton Vale women's prison in Stirling.

But in the meantime a deportation order was served on Ms Cho and on Thursday the Immigration Service confirmed she had been deported.

Lothian and Borders Police said she was sent back to the US before the end of June.

The Crown Office said there would be no further legal action against Ms Cho.

"There are no further court dates, she has been deported and so the case has been discontinued," a spokeswoman said.

Rowling is known to be an intensely private woman and used her married name, Joanne Murray, in court papers.

The publication of her much-awaited fifth book - Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix - which was scheduled for this autumn, has been postponed, possibly until 2003

i almost laughed myself hoarse. that lady has some serious mental problems. coincidence or just the course of life, 'Cho' is the name of Harry's crush!

the trip to Island of Adventure was cool. i had a fun time. we rode on alot of the attractions. we even bought the picture that was taken at the Hulk rollercoaster. it looks pretty cool.

the trip back home was ok. it went by very fast. puerto rico looked beautiful at night! it reminded me of a computer chip. it was the best scene ever. anyways my sister was annoying me on the way to pick up the luggage, so on monday i snapped and i beat the shit out of her. but i hit her like never before. i was so angry. we're both scratched all over. (my sister is not easy)

veronica camed over on monday too. she liked her harry potter doll i bought her. hehe. well mom was going to take victoria to the movies cause she was going to see Men In Black II, (she invited me but i said no), so we went to the mall to buy some school stuff, we bought polo shirts, and a backpack for me. i bought myself a perfume and a wallet from hello kitty. i encountered myself with none other than christian (close friend), and to my surprise he's using glasses! i mentioned this to raymond (another close friend. in junior high it used to be raymond, christian a guy called dwight and myself. we have known each other since elementary school.), and ray told me he is also using glasses! i told him it's their school, i heard it's really crappy. anyways chris told me, that they wanted to go see Halloween Resurrection and that the four us should go. i don't like horror movies but that's ok. i haven't seen ray since his birthday on oct 20th.

i rented Kate & Leopold, watched it with mom. it was good but nothing out of this world. i really wanted to rent The Royal Tenenbaums - i don't know if it's written correctly. oh well...

like the new layout?

I'M BACK HOME

11/07/2002

last time i posted i forgot to write about when we went to see Lilo and Stitch. (i think it was on Saturday) it was soo cool! Stitch was awesome. yey! the movie rocked. yesterday we were gonna go see Men In Black II but my cousin screw it up to make it short! damn! >_O

well it so happens were gonna go to Island of Adventure, shit. i reeaallyy wanted to go to Magic Kingdom. i'm still hoping there will be a change of plans.

my dad and i have alredy fighted twice, and i just want to go home. but it looks like this saturday there will be alot to do and plus he's not going to be here cause he has to go to the National Guard for... whatever it is that they do there.

i'm not into details today, been lying around the house... tired of doing nothing, oh, i created a new motto, or whatever they're called;

"LIFE is hard, just like eating tabasco."

i'm a motherfucking genius. don't steal.

09/07/2002

i'm sorry i didn't post before i left for Orlando. that's where i am right now (my dad lives in Fort Lauderdale, and he was peeking to see what i was doing and i just shooed him away).

well, i've done lots. yesterday we went to Blizzard Beach in Disney. i've never been to Disney before, just to Downtown Disney. it was awesome. i had a super time. when i get the pictures developed i'll post them here. Blizzard Beach has tons of cool rides, my favourite one was... erm, i think it was called "Team Spreens". it's at the top of the mountain, i rode it twice. it was really cool cause just went downhill on this big tube that seated 5 or 6 people. they also had this wave pool (i just say it's a fake beach) and i spent the rest on the afternoon swimming on it. Goofy appear at some point in the afternoon and i took some pictures OF him. i had my camera so i couldn't get near. it rocked.

i've bought a couple of CD's, i bought (with my money) Injected - Burn It Black, The White Stripes - White Blood Cells and today my dad bought me Le Tigre - Feminist Sweepstakes woohoo!! (i really wanted a Le Tigre CD, great band and you can't find em in Puerto Rico just the EP's). today we drove around all friggin' day i spent the time listenin' to music on my CD Player. on the way i lost my favourite necklace. sad sad day. it belonged to my mom. it had the symbol of "immortality".

ooon, Sunday we went to a place called OId Town Kissimmee (my grandmother, which is where i am right now lives in this city), and it was pretty cool too. i'am pretty sure the Hansons went there once. i'll have to check theyre videos when i get home. they had this wicked rides. wait ... not wicked, fuckin' crazy rides! you had to pay 50 bucks to get tortured, fuckin' crazy. there was one that they placed you in a luminated ball, and the ball flew reeaallyy high up in the air and the ball itself twirled so you were going pretty fast, pretty high and pretty twirly (i just made that i up). they had another one, it was like a Bungee but 3 people or less could ride it. it looked liked you flew in the air, that one was 300 feet high, yikes! i had a fun time looking and the people's scared faces (they had a patio so you could sit and watch, they even had commentary).

i haven't called veronica for awhile now, i may do later. it's just i feel really uncomfortable talking to her here. i preffer to go home and talk. dad said we could go to another park and i'm rooting for Magic Kingdom in Disney. my sister dosen't know where she wants to go. but she's talking about Island of Adventure, yuck.

the best i like about being here is that they have MTV2...

04/07/2002

well.. i made it to the USA, safe and sound. thank goodness. i'm here at my dad's house. we arrived at 3pm here at florida. we went to visit some friend of my dad, and then we went to Applebee's ... good stuff ^_~, i'm using a shift button!!!! yey! hehe. well, i'll be at my dad's house til saturday, so i'll post before that. bye

03/07/2002

my grandfather camed and picked us up, and we went out with him to eat, and crap. then we went out to buy some last minute stuff, he also bought me the 'Iam Sam' soundtrack, it's super great.

well, i'm making this short. i have to go to sleep and i want to watch harry potter tonight. remember i'm leaving for a 10-day vacation. just in case, i'm flying through American Airlines, a flight fgrom Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale, FL [i'm not sure if that's how you write it]. well, i'm scared as hell. i hope i don't die, cause last night i had a dream one of my old teachers was telling me i was. i was going to leave a will, teeehehehe, but i'm too lazy. i'm not sure if i'll have internet access while i'm there but if i do i'll try and leave a message. i'll also try to at least write on paper the exploits of my vacation and maybe post it here.

look at what some idiot wrote to me about my website the chamber of links;

Excuse me, but it's MY website I write whatever the hell I want on it, cause the last I checked I lived in America and it was a free country. So get a life, and yeah don't submit your website [or your friends, if their thickheaded as you are] I'm better off without you.

BWAHAHAHA.

02/07/2002

well, Vanilla Sky, was not all what i though it was gonna be. half the time i had no idea what was going on and tom cruise had a horrible freaky mask or his face was disfigured. yikes! we also went on friday to see Scooby-Doo, i was most upset cause well, the harry potter trailer of the new movie was supposed to go along with it but it didn't. the movie is not at all that great, the scenes with shaggy and scooby were rather cute, and the bad guy, the bad guy was... well you just HAVE to see the movie just to see who the bad guy is. it's the stupidest thing. we were gonna go see Lilo and Stitch, but when I told dad about my plans he asked me to please go see another since he wanted to see that one with us while we were on vacation this week with him.

on saturday, we went shopping, when i got in the car my sister gave me a package that had arrived for me. it happened to be, free cd's. woohoo. i have an account at bmg music catalogs and they all sorts of specials, like buy one cd and get 2 free, and a couple of days ago i asked veronica to buy a cd for me since one of the conditions in my account was to get a free cd [linking park] and agree to buy another one in the course of a year. well, it happened that we got a bunch of free cd's, i shared them with veronica though. so far around 11 of the cd's we've asked for have arrived and only one for me. heehee. i got John Mayer, and let me tell you something that man is an absolute GOD. this album is fantastic. i love it i love it, i've never been so much of a lyrics person when it comes to music, lyrics always come in second, i never really give a fuck what the song is about as long as it has a good beat that's all that matters. but these is one of the albums that the beats [or should i say strings, most of it it's done with acoustic guitars] come in second. he outs alot of though and soul into them and he makes them really personal. so personal you can't sing them cause it just dosen't apply to you. well, that saturday we went to visit my grandfather [my dad's dad] at his workshop. we weren't really going to, but my stupid sister told him for some reason we were going to visit him and we were obligated. afterwards we went to um video avenue, my mom rented Behind Enemy Lines, which i didn't watch. i'm not into that kind of movies, but i rented I am Sam. then we went to old navy and bought some clothes for the trip. i bought a jean skirt, a top and sandals. when we got home we proceeded to spend the afternoon watching Trading Spaces, which were good but not that good because of the lack of Ty. man that guy is SO HOT, ooooh, i've got a total crush on him, he's friggin' cute. if you don't know what trading spaces is, it's a show on TLC about decoration, but it's really fun. it shows on weekdends and you should watch it just because of Ty, he's a carpenter. the rules of the show are pretty hard so i'll not gio into them. mom says he was voted one of the 50 sexiest bachelors, which dosen't suprise me, he's... well... Brad Pitt dosen't come close. she also says he used to be an actor and a model. i'm not sure if his name is spelled Ty, but it's pronounced 'T-A-ii'. all hooray for Ty.

at night I went on to see I am Sam, what a friggin' good movie. i'm telling you, at one point i camed out of my room, and i looked myself in the bathroom mirror, and i was a mess. my eyes were all blotchly, and red, and well, i looked like crap. i cryed through it all. i still have the movie so veronica can come and watch it, she's going to pay for the re-charge :D

today [monday] veronica was here, she was helping clean the patio, and dye the jeans i use to wear for school, which were alredy a brownish-gray from an original black. i didn't dye em in the school year cause i was afraid of not doing it right and having to go to school with ugly jeans [in puerto rico, schools have dress codes. not uniforms, dress codes. like everyone has to go dress in black pants and white polos. other schools ask you to wear other kinds of clothes and colors. it's not that bad since it makes the school more organized, and everyone is dressed the same so picking on you for what you wear is not usual, but people can still laugh at you for wearing dorky pants.]. the pants turned out all right., thanks goodness, i wanted to take them to the trip.

i'm off now, it's late.

i wrote this message eary in the morning of july 2nd, but i got logged off and i couldn't come back, so i saved it and posted it now... [i'm not checking it for errors]
