well, Vanilla Sky, was not all what i though it was gonna be. half the time i had no idea what was going on and tom cruise had a horrible freaky mask or his face was disfigured. yikes! we also went on friday to see Scooby-Doo, i was most upset cause well, the harry potter trailer of the new movie was supposed to go along with it but it didn't. the movie is not at all that great, the scenes with shaggy and scooby were rather cute, and the bad guy, the bad guy was... well you just HAVE to see the movie just to see who the bad guy is. it's the stupidest thing. we were gonna go see Lilo and Stitch, but when I told dad about my plans he asked me to please go see another since he wanted to see that one with us while we were on vacation this week with him.
on saturday, we went shopping, when i got in the car my sister gave me a package that had arrived for me. it happened to be, free cd's. woohoo. i have an account at bmg music catalogs and they all sorts of specials, like buy one cd and get 2 free, and a couple of days ago i asked veronica to buy a cd for me since one of the conditions in my account was to get a free cd [linking park] and agree to buy another one in the course of a year. well, it happened that we got a bunch of free cd's, i shared them with veronica though. so far around 11 of the cd's we've asked for have arrived and only one for me. heehee. i got John Mayer, and let me tell you something that man is an absolute GOD. this album is fantastic. i love it i love it, i've never been so much of a lyrics person when it comes to music, lyrics always come in second, i never really give a fuck what the song is about as long as it has a good beat that's all that matters. but these is one of the albums that the beats [or should i say strings, most of it it's done with acoustic guitars] come in second. he outs alot of though and soul into them and he makes them really personal. so personal you can't sing them cause it just dosen't apply to you. well, that saturday we went to visit my grandfather [my dad's dad] at his workshop. we weren't really going to, but my stupid sister told him for some reason we were going to visit him and we were obligated. afterwards we went to um video avenue, my mom rented Behind Enemy Lines, which i didn't watch. i'm not into that kind of movies, but i rented I am Sam. then we went to old navy and bought some clothes for the trip. i bought a jean skirt, a top and sandals. when we got home we proceeded to spend the afternoon watching Trading Spaces, which were good but not that good because of the lack of Ty. man that guy is SO HOT, ooooh, i've got a total crush on him, he's friggin' cute. if you don't know what trading spaces is, it's a show on TLC about decoration, but it's really fun. it shows on weekdends and you should watch it just because of Ty, he's a carpenter. the rules of the show are pretty hard so i'll not gio into them. mom says he was voted one of the 50 sexiest bachelors, which dosen't suprise me, he's... well... Brad Pitt dosen't come close. she also says he used to be an actor and a model. i'm not sure if his name is spelled Ty, but it's pronounced 'T-A-ii'. all hooray for Ty.
at night I went on to see I am Sam, what a friggin' good movie. i'm telling you, at one point i camed out of my room, and i looked myself in the bathroom mirror, and i was a mess. my eyes were all blotchly, and red, and well, i looked like crap. i cryed through it all. i still have the movie so veronica can come and watch it, she's going to pay for the re-charge :D
today [monday] veronica was here, she was helping clean the patio, and dye the jeans i use to wear for school, which were alredy a brownish-gray from an original black. i didn't dye em in the school year cause i was afraid of not doing it right and having to go to school with ugly jeans [in puerto rico, schools have dress codes. not uniforms, dress codes. like everyone has to go dress in black pants and white polos. other schools ask you to wear other kinds of clothes and colors. it's not that bad since it makes the school more organized, and everyone is dressed the same so picking on you for what you wear is not usual, but people can still laugh at you for wearing dorky pants.]. the pants turned out all right., thanks goodness, i wanted to take them to the trip.
i'm off now, it's late.
